Albert worked as a type setter at Yule’s Printery in Trinidad and a few other positions through the years, his last job being at Melrose Coffee in Winnipeg where he retired as a Supervisor. He had an excellent work ethic and rarely missed work.

Albert was an avid card player and was a member of the Manitoba All fours association and played on the Genesis team. He won many awards and received numerous accolades. He loved to cook and bake and enjoyed gardening. He also enjoyed his sports being an avid Blue Jays fan and Boston Red Sox as well. Loved to watch the news and to keep up on the happenings in the US. He previously lived in New York and Montreal for several years before settling in Winnipeg.

Although not too religious, Albert loved to tune in to the Sunday services on television and had a genuine respect for the Lord. Albert was kind and gentle, very generous and would put others before himself, ready to lend a hand.

He has truly been a blessing to his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.

Special thanks to the Homecare team that took great care of him over the past 4 years.
