Obituary for Carol Jean Bedard
CAROL JEAN BEDARD (NEE FINGLER)
Carol Jean Bedard passed away peacefully December 31, 2021 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 85.
Jean was predeceased by her parents Caroline (Rossnagel) Fingler and William Fingler, son Ronald (Ronny) Bedard, siblings Doris Smith, Harvey Fingler, Wilma Joss, Robert (Bob) Fingler, Janet Bernice Cook, Ronald (Ron) Fingler and ex-husband Robert Bedard.
She is survived by sisters-in-law Maureen Fingler (Ron), June Fingler (Bob), Beatrice Bedard, Roseanne Bedard and Irene Mytz, along with many nieces and nephews.
Jean was born July 19, 1936 at the St. Boniface Hospital and grew up on farm near Selkirk, MB. at age of 10, the family moved to St. Vital. Jean lived and worked in Churchill and Winnipeg, MB. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Her family would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care she received there.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 1M3.
Her ashes will be laid to rest along side her parents at Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg, MB. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when gathering is allowed.
