Art, Valdine,, Leonard and family. I am sorry to hear of Caroline's death. I had the privilege of being under her directing both in the sr choir and the handbell choir at CUC. Caroline directed the joint choirs at our wedding, Everyone had the pleasure of listening to her beautiful voice as she performed the solo. Then as a thoughtful gesture she surprised me by playing the handbells as we recessed from the church.
I think one of the last jobs she did at CUC was to direct the choir at my mother's funeral.
We did run into Caroline a few times over the years and we always had a great visit.
Cherish all memories. Thinking of you all.

Caroline was a great singer and uplifting bright spirit to Fort Garry United church choir! When she was singing with us, her humour and lively witty comments kept us all on our toes, and her voice was beautiful to hear. She took part in our annual Spring and Fall concerts, and was always delightful to see and hear. We will all miss her, and her spot in the front row of the choir will be kept warm and sacred in her memory.

Dear Art
Sending sincerest condolences to you and your family as you grieve the death of your beloved Caroline.
My memories of Caroline go back to when John and I were new members of St Stephen’s Broadway and I will always remember Caroline’s and Donna Bouma’s beautiful solos and duets. It was such a pleasure to discover that she was singing at FGUC when we joined the congregation there and made us feel we were “home” again.
You are very much in my thoughts these days as I know only too well the huge void you are experiencing. Valdine was in Youth Group at St S-B with my family. These were happy times we all shared and can look back upon with pleasure and gratitude.
Sincerely
Muriel Steele
