Obituary for Erhard (Ed) Weiss
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Erhard (Ed) Weiss, who at the age of 76 suddenly but peacefully left us on November 28, 2020.
Ed is survived by his former wife and good friend Elfriede; his four children: Dean (Lesley), Chuck (Valerie), Rodney (Rose-Ann), and Tracy (Adam); his grandchildren Austin (Kelsey), Micheala, Shyla (Roy), Stephanie (Scott), Julia, Maya, Benjamin, Joshua, Emmett, Mia, Oliver and Isla; and great-grandchildren, Easton, Amelia, and Aubrey.
Ed is also survived by three of his remaining siblings: brothers, Ernie, Gerry (Sheryl) and Arno (Linda).
Ed spent most of his life as a meat cutter. He was a gentle and athletic soul who loved music, talking with his family, fishing, gardening, and throwing a football around.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, an interment will be held virtually from Brookside Cemetery (date to be determined). A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when it is safe to do so.
