Obituary for Gudrun Sigridur Tait
Gudrun Sigridur Tait (nee Palsson) passed away November 1, 2022 at the ripe age of 96. She was born in Arborg, September 14, 1926.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, and her brothers, Pall, Larus, Oli, Hjalti, Victor and sister Beatrice Valstyn.
She is survived and fondly missed by her siblings; Inga Doll and Siggi Palsson, children; Ralph , Paula (Irv) Biluk, Bruce (Cheryl) Pamela , grand children; Christie Biluk,
Jamie ( Leah) Biluk, Amber (Jeff) Biberdorf, Sarah ( Matt) Krueger, Percival Giebelhaus, Dietrich Giebelhaus, and great-
grandchildren; Ava and Taylor Biluk and John Biberdorf.
Gudrun was a devoted wife and mother and grandmother who always put others ahead of herself. She loved her family, friends and healthy living.
She had a deep faith in the Lord Jesus and trusted Him during good times and also when going through painful or difficult times.
Outside of the family, she enjoyed volunteering at Women’s Pavillion, MB Theatre Centre and Wpg Symphony Orchestra for many years.
Mother held a deep respect for her husband and always told us that "he was a good and faithful man”, and Dad told us that when he met mom, he “ hit the jackpot !"
They were together for almost 70 years! When asked “how did your marriage last that long?, they looked at each other and smiled.
Mom then said, "No one is perfect but without a sense of humour, there’s no living with a person!"
We will miss you!

At Gudrun’s request, cremation has taken place with no funeral or service to be held.
