Obituary for Hannelore Theresa Millington

Born in 1953, in in Dillenburg Germany 🇩🇪 to the late mother Friedel Althaus-Himkowski and father Marion Himkowski. She was German and Polish.

The family traveled by ship to Canada in 1958 in search of opportunities and the dream of living in a country called Canada!
Hannelore AKA: Hanna, was as a wife twice and mother once.

Throughout the years she worked as a waitress and homecare provider working as a healthcare aid with Victorian order of nurses for several years.

She had a very loving, caring personality towards the community and people she worked with and for, as well as many neighbors who would spend time visiting her home because she always made people feel like family!

She enjoyed music, singing, dancing and even playing the occasional practical joke! She thoroughly enjoyed joking around and enjoying life to the fullest!

Hanna was an excellent Baker and cook! Everyone loved her food! And we miss her delicious meals every day!

To some people her life may have looked pretty hard and yes there were hard times but she always, made things happen. She always provided a way!

She is one of the strongest women that I know defeating cancer 3 times in her short life, too!

We would love to thank the staff and management of Calvary Place ,for the many years of caring service that they provided for our loved one! We thank you from the bottom of our heart! ❤️

She is survived by her loving husband Earl Millington, who tirelessly and caringly provided care and visitation on a very regular basis, despite the many years of battling dementia!

Her daughter Lora Marshall and husband Clint Marshall, grand daughter Kylee Marshall will miss her dearly! We are deeply saddened about this!

She leaves behind 2 brothers John and Stanley Himkowski and 1 sister Vickie Tanchuk and many nephews and nieces.

And her friends will miss her so much too! They had so much fun memories!

We will all miss you so much Hanna banana! ❤️ "We're here for a good time not a long time!"

Love from our family! Live your life to your fullest because you never know how much time you have!
