Obituary for James Clifford Fardoe

JAMES CLIFFORD FARDOE

Unexpectedly on October 2, 2022 our husband, father, and soon to be grandpa, James Clifford Fardoe peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, at the age of 73.

Jim was born in Winnipeg May 25, 1949 to his parents Cliff and Pearl Fardoe. He grew up in the Weston/Brooklands area until his marriage to Audrey in 1969, later settling in Transcona for over 46 years. He worked for CP Rail as a Carman until his retirement in 2004. After retirement he focused his time on his family and his cherished dog Carley.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Cliff and Pearl. He will be missed by his wife of 52 years Audrey (nee Gough), son Daniel (Candace), son David (Meite), brother Jerry (Sharon), sister Lorraine Kopychanski, brother-in-law Bryan Gough of Calgary, numerous nieces and nephews, his close friends, and his Church family at St. George’s Anglican Church Transcona.

A big thank you to everyone who helped Jim navigate this trying time in his life, and a special thank you to friends and family who supported him and Audrey, you made a huge difference by being there for them.
A memorial service will be held on Friday October 14, 2022 11am at St. George’s Anglican Church Transcona, 321 Pandora Ave W.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. George’s Anglican Church Transcona, the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Winnipeg Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.
