Obituary for Jane Stephenson Hoogstraten
With her children by her side, Jane Stephenson Hoogstraten, 71, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away on December 27th, 2020.
Jane is now hanging out on the big lawn with her parents, Alice and Jan, her brother Derek (Judith), her daughter Geraldine, her nephew Dylan (Mika) and her partner Wayne.
She is survived by her brother Taylor (Laurie), her sister Ann (Jim), her daughter Christine, her son Jeremy (Kristy), her stepdaughter Janet (Jonathan) and her seven grandchildren, Avery, Carlin, Sophie, Jack, Ella, Brett and Helen. She will also be missed by many nieces and extended family and friends.
Jane will be remembered for her kind and caring nature and always being there to lend a helping hand. Jane had a lifelong love of animals, the arts, and was an advocate for mental health.
A celebration of life will be planned in the summer for friends and family.
