John Dennis McQuade passed on January 14,2021 suddenly at Health Sciences Centre. Dennis was born November 19, 1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, son of Mabel and Henry McQuade.

Dennis will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousin, and extended family.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley in 2009, married for 49 years, residing in Winnipeg.

Dennis worked for Winnipeg Hydro for 32 years as a valued employee. He was a member of the Free Masons of Manitoba, and was dedicated to the Khartum Shrine Komedians as TODO the clown, for 43 years. He was known well for his extensive volunteer work. Dennis was the Santa in the City of Winnipeg’s annual Santa Clause parade for 40 consecutive years.

Dennis will truly be missed by his fellow Komedians and by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, friends who wish to make a donation in memory of Dennis may do so to the Khartum Shrine Patient Transportation Fund at 1155 Wilkes, 204-925-1430.

Funeral arrangements will be made for celebration of his life at a later date, due to the pandemic restrictions.
