Obituary for Kenneth Duncan McLean

We are heartbroken to announce that Kenneth Duncan McLean succumbed to cancer on December 5, 2020.

Kenneth was a beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, foster son, friend and community member. He was the light of every room, and a beacon of resilience, positivity, good nature and joy.

He is predeceased by his mother Ruth Elin McLean (Perlmutter) and his father Norman McLean.

He is survived by his brother Norman Jon McLean, sister-in-law Sarah McLean, his nieces and nephews and his loving extended family and foster families. He was a vibrant and treasured member of many communities including his day programs, Special Olympics and church.

Renowned for his joke-telling, quizzes and an astounding ability to re-enact cherished movie scenes, he was the best of company at all times and will be sorely missed at home, work, church, and family gatherings. He loved re-living his favorite moments, and we will love doing the same for the countless memories, stories and laughs he blessed us with.

You will truly leave behind an unfillable void, but we look forward to seeing you again. We love you Kenneth.
