LORRAINE ROSETTA MACDONALD (RAU)
JULY 5, 1935 — AUGUST 28, 2022
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Lorraine Macdonald on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Lorna and Charlie Rau, brother Carl Rau and sister Kathleen Logan. She is survived by sisters, Barbara (Jack) McCormick, Jean and Gail Rau, sister in-law Betty-Lou Rau, brother in-law David (Myra) Logan, nephews, Brent Rau, Jamie (Lisa) Logan, Jonathon (Janelle) McCormick, Cameron (Ashlye) McCormick, nieces, Kelly (Teresa) Logan and Luanna Rau, great nephews, Brody and Braedon Rau, Kyle and Ryan Logan, and many cousins.
She attended Elmwood Elementary School and Lord Selkirk High School. Lorraine was employed by Washtronics and Air Canada, Finance Department, retiring in 1993.
Lorraine was a loving and generous aunt and enjoyed hosting dinner parties, as well as gardening, needlework, knitting and crossword puzzles.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at a later date.
