It is with heavy hearts we must announce the passing of Tom (Thomas) Ronald Manness on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at the age of 66, in Riverview Health Centre, after a hard, fought battle against cancer.
Tom is survived by his devoted and loving wife Kathy of 36 + years; his two sons Tommy and Chris; his granddaughters Kylie, Paris, Isabelle and grandson Chris. He is also survived by his brothers Don and Ken and the mother of his grandchildren, Geraldine.
He will be sadly missed by his extended family of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
“Let’s not think of him as gone away but that his journey’s just begun, that he is greeted with open arms from his parents Thomas and Betty and his in-laws Leo and Jesse and his brother Jerry and his sister Val and his brothers-in-law Leo and John. Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting, from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved.”
