Obituary for Thomas Patrick Mullally

THOMAS PATRICK MULLALLY

On June 15, 2020, Thomas Patrick Mullally passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Tom was born to Thomas and Margaret Mullally in Kearney, Ontario on April 1, 1938. He is survived by his wife Sharon; his children, Chris (Warren), Corinne (Derek), Shane (Kim); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Justin, Riley, Logan, Conner, Max and Mikenah and his great-grandchildren, Jackson, Kosmo, Emma and Mia. He also leaves to mourn his passing his brother Peter (Carolyn) and sister Maureen (Burk), as well as many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tom was predeceased by his mother and father; brother Doug (Laverne), and sister Theresa.

He met his wife Sharon in a neighboring small town and was married in 1965.
As a young man, Tom worked in Toronto with Simon Day and was transferred to Winnipeg in 1966 working at Simon Day for 30 years. Then he moved on to Greensteel Industries for 10 years before retirement.
Tom enjoyed walking and tracking his steps with his Fitbit. He loved golfing and curling with the West Kildonan Seniors club, meeting people, and having breakfast with friends. Tom was a very sociable person. Tom loved watching golf and the Winnipeg Jets. Tom enjoyed a 21-year retirement.

Throughout all his years, Tom's greatest joy and comfort was his family. His children and grandchildren brought him endless joy. With family and friends, he enjoyed many sociable fun-loving events, generally enjoying life to its fullest. He woke up happy and whistling and stayed that way throughout his life.
