Obituary for Valerie Lyne Gingell
Valerie Lyne Gingell (Baldwin) December 25, 1961 - July 8, 2022.
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Valerie Gingell on Friday, July 8, 2022. At the Selkirk Regional Health Centre with her family at her side.
Valerie leaves to mourn her beloved children Alexandrea and Travis, husband of 27 years Glenn, parents Gordon and Agatha Baldwin, brother’s Allan (Berly) Baldwin, Ken (Tracy) Baldwin, numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in Winnipeg and raised in the St.James – Assiniboia area. Graduated from John Taylor Colligate, she was employed in banking for many years with TD, BMO -Bank of Montreal, later with Glen D Ross Agencies and The Home Depot. Val chose to become a stay at home mom to raise her children who were her life, making countless sacrifices. Her volunteer work with East St Paul Community Club, Gryphons Lacrosse Association and Red River Lacrosse Association spanned nearly 15 years. She has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled. She will be missed by so many had an impacted so many lives.

In Valerie’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life on July 20 at 1.00 pm at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. Bring your memories of her to share.
